Weather patterns in Australia are becoming more unpredictable. Increasingly dry conditions affect the solubility and transport of soil contained metabolic elements, and affect the quality of forages for grazing ruminants.

Studies suggest with less ground moisture conditions solubilised elements will follow the lowering water table or be locked up within the dry sub soil, reducing grazing animals’ nutrient intake, and in turn decreasing farm animal production.

Beef Cattle

PFMA Plus all weather loose nutrient mixes:

• BF 090 loose nutrient mix for summer grazing - prevents metabolic deficiencies, stimulates rumen biota and enables improved dry feed digestion.
  BF 100 loose nutrient mix for moist winter and spring pasture grazing – both corrects deficiencies, and prevents tetany.
  
• PFMA Plus BF 080 high density feedlot concentrate: for short term 60 - 90 days feed programs. When blended with recommended grains and proteins, it will substantially improve feed conversion and efficiency, carcass quality and increase the lean meat yield.

Dairy Cattle

• PFMA Plus HDC 060: loose nutrient mix will make your investment in diary heifers a sound one – by providing the right metabolic elements required to grow grazing heifers having a strong frame, sound hooves and an active reproductive system.

Our all weather loose nutrient mixes provide essential element absorption. They are ideal for growing pasture grazing dairy calves into strongly boned future herd replacements and, also for dry cows.

• PFMA Vimin: Dairy feed supplements for high producing cows. Vimin pasture feeding, lactating dairy cow pelleted feed supplements provide a carefully formulated level of vitamins and micro minerals to assist with the balancing of a dairy cows daily dietary intake. • SH 605 a loose nutrient mix for grazing dry summer pasture - prevents metabolic deficiencies and stimulates rumen biota enabling improved dry feed digestion. Excellent for stubble grazing lambs.
  PFMA Plus SH 606 a loose nutrient mix for grazing green cereal crops and fresh moist winter pasture - ideal for boosting fertility in both rams and ewes prior to joining, and for pre lambing ewes. PFMA Plus Sheep and Lamb production concentrates:

• SH 612 a specifically formulated sheep feed concentrate for controlled confinement feeding during drought and periods of stress. Also prevents stripping bare existing ground cover forage. Maintains 55-65% body condition, animal health and improves conception rates in ewes for flock rebuilding.
